The funny thing about Artwork. :)
Monday, April 19, 2010
You know, Artwork is such a funny thing. People almost never put anything out that they're not proud of. Two years ago, I would've put something like this out:

And a year later:

And now:

Half a year ago, I would've put something such as this out:

And now, I would put something like this out:

See the difference? I'm so glad that when you work hard, your artwork progresses. How about you? Did you have a rough Artist start? Have you progressed alot? At one point in time did you ever steal someone elses work, and then reform? I've heard lots of stories, but I'm glad artwork changes, and I'm glad (for the most part) that people change. :)
So anyways, all of that to say that I'm planning on redoing some of my older pixels, to make purty new ones. (:
Also, I've made a new link-me button! n____n

Hey Jess, I would love to be affies! :) I'll add your link button asap! I remember when I first started getting into web design. I was obsessed with neopets, lol! I didn't really know that I was stealing and just put a bunch of random pixels on my site and didn't credit, lol. I used other peoples graphics and my pixels were not so great. I don't think that my pixels are the best still but I have improved so much on making layouts. I remember when I would use photos and just make a content box, lol. It really does take practice :) I really love your hello kitty pixels :)

No, I really tried to pull away from it because it was so addicting and decided to concentrate more on web design. I guess I also kinda grew out of it and for a while I actually left the internet because I was having fun with friends offline. :)

I've been feeling the same Jess. I look at some of my old artwork and am proud that I've improved so much; at the same time, though, I feel like going back and fixing all the old ones! xD
I love your new button Jess. Your buttons are so creative and sparkly; I have the hardest time coming up with buttons, haha. :)

I love your new button! It's just so cute and sparkley. It really suits your site name :3
Its interesting to see progression of your pixeling style. While none of your early ones are ugly, you've clearly progressed a lot~
I've deleted all my old pixels long ago, but I think everyone has a few of those really hideous first pixels in their photobucket somewhere XD

your progress is amazing.
Hard work does pay of I redid most of my pixels. I couldn't believe how far I've gotten. I still have a lot of growing to do.
