Piano is my Passion (:

Isn't that purty? It's my piano. my old klunker that I've learned to play the piano on. (: I've been playing piano for well, as of thirty days from now, 13 years. It is by far my favorite instrument, and I have learned so much through it.

I don't brag about it much, because then people have higher expectations for me, but, I play by ear alot. And I've composed several pieces, which will indeed be my Summer project (putting them in sheet music, that is.). I can play nearly anything I hear, it's just something I was born with. It kind of is a crutch though, it's easier to rely on my ear than to actually read the notes...but anyways..

I've learned to read music, and I'm currently realllyyy into Music history. I've been studying several of the Baroque/Classical/Romatic Artist (Romantic being my favorite, excluding Wagner & Debussy). History has always been one of my favorite things to study, so put music & history together, and I'm all over it. :D

Anyways, as of late I've been playing alot of Chopin, and a few later Beethoven pieces (the one's leaning more toward the Romantic music period...). They're fun. Gotta give it to those old dudes, they knew their stuff. ;D

So, rightio, I love music alot because I can play it... But music is so much more than that. There is nothing quite like it. It is unique. It sets the mood for your mind, it even, "reaches your soul". When words cannot express one's feelings, music often can.

Don't you love that about music? It reaches so deep down inside of you, and makes you want to SINNNGGG. :) I love that. I can't imagine the world without music! What do you think, do ya'll play any instruments? or sing? What kind of music do you like? :)
